Hot Potato

Hot Potato was a social networking platform founded by Dave Morin. It was launched in 2007 and acquired by Facebook in 2010. The platform allowed users to create events and share them with their friends. It also had features for creating polls, sharing photos, and messaging other users. Hot Potato had a strong focus on mobile and was one of the first social networks to launch a dedicated iPhone app. However, it ultimately failed to gain widespread adoption and was shut down after the Facebook acquisition.
